Well here we are. The first day of the trip. We took the Amtrak train
from Montreal in the morning. The train was a bit delayed, but it went
by alright.
The train left around 9:45 AM, and we arrived in New York around 9:30
PM. So that's almost 12 hours on the train just to get from Montreal to
New York. At least there was a cafe cart on the train so it was possible
to get up from our seats and walk around a bit.
I ended up eating a small pizza and a bag of chips. The price for the
food was alright. The end of the ride seemed to go by a bit faster, and
then we finally arrived in New York.
It was already late by the time we reached the hotel. So all we had time
to do was grab something to eat and then we headed back to the hotel to
end the first day of our trip.
