It's New Year's Eve in New York City. Our day started with a small mixed
fast food meal. We didn't want to spend too much on our lunch, so that
was what we found that was the cheapest.
We then spent a bit of time looking around a few stores, but we quickly
found out that all of the stores were about to close. It seems like most
of the stores in Time's Square close around 2 PM on New Year's Eve.
We went back to the hotel and wasted time until the evening, we then
headed back out in the evening to see what the crowd looked like
outside.
There were people all over the place, and every street corner was
blocked. In the end we had to go through a few extra streets just to get
back to our hotel.
