Another day in Seoul! This time we went out and went near the Gyeongbokgung Palace.
We passed in front of the main gate, but before heading there we went a bit further to go eat lunch.
We ate at a vegetarian Korean restaurant which was pretty good for the price. After eating we went back towards the Palace and went inside.
We continued walking north and arrived at a folk museum. It was free so we went inside to have a look.
Outside the museum, there was some old but not too old buildings. One even had a poster of Star Wars.
We started heading back south by going through some different paths. We saw a few other things along the way.
We eventually arrived back at the front gate, we went out and found another museum nearby. This one was also free so we went inside.
After spending some time there, we headed back out. The gates to the palace grounds were now closed.
It was still a bit early to go eat, so we looked around. We saw a statue of King Sejong. There were two doors at the back.
Turns out there was another free museum inside after going down some stairs.
In the end we visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace and three museums and only paid about 3000 WON (About 3$ Canadian). After visiting the last one, we decided to go back to the same vegetarian restaurant to try something else for supper. Along the way we saw another shrine.
After eating we took the metro and headed back to our hotel.
