We woke up at 5:00 AM on the Trans Siberian. Shortly we would finally arrive at our destination: Vladivostok in the far east of Russia!
It was still dark outside even though it was 6:00 AM. We walked a few streets to our hotel. It was good to finally be able to walk. Our hotel is not too bad except for a few things in our room that seems to be falling apart. Thankfully we're only staying here one night. It actually stayed dark outside until about 9:00 AM!
After eating breakfast in the hotel, we went down to the lobby to meet up with our neighbors from the Trans Siberian, Larry and John. We first went with them to visit the submarine museum.
It was interesting and inside we were able to see some of the actual spaces that were inside the submarine. After that we went up the hill where we were able to get a view of the bridge and some naval ships.
Once at the hotel we spent some time updating all of our missing posts on the blog, and then we went down to eat supper in the hotel. There was supposed to be a menu, but the restaurant ended up just being a buffet which didn't have many choices.
