We started by eating breakfast at the hotel. It would be our last meal before the Trans Siberian. The breakfast was a buffet so it wasn't too bad.
After that we headed out and took the metro to our train station. We had a lot of time to wait for our train, so we spent time playing cards and took turns to walk around.
In the evening, it was finally time for us to take our train. We got on and found our cabin. It turns out we weren't the only ones getting on for the entire journey. We met Larry and John from Detroit who will be our neighbors the whole way to Vladivostok.
